Cistello's QR reader reads QR codes and barcodes with your phone's or computer's camera, or from an image. Reading happens in your browser; camera frames and images never leave your device.

• QR code, DataMatrix, Aztec, PDF417, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC, Code 128, Code 39 and ITF.
• Live camera reading: rear camera, torch and camera switching.
• From an image: choose a file, drag and drop or paste with Ctrl+V; several codes in one image are listed separately.
• Shows content by type: links, Wi-Fi passwords, contact cards, email, phone, SMS, locations and calendar events.
• Never opens links on its own and shows the real domain, so look-alike addresses stand out.

How do I read a QR code from an image?

On the "From image" tab, choose the picture, drag it in or paste it from the clipboard. Every code in the image is listed and numbered.

Is my camera feed sent anywhere?

No. Frames are decoded in your browser and discarded; nothing is recorded or uploaded.

Can I see the password in a Wi-Fi QR code?

Yes. The network name and password are shown, and you can copy the password with one click.
